Pop Star Burna Boy Calls Out MTV Base For not Nominating Him For 2015 MAMA's Awards

This is kind of sad. Burna Boy called out MTV Base for not giving him a single nomination..Despite trending on their platform, high level collabos and videos,he was rebuff. Last year, he lost out in the category of Best New Artist to Cameroon's star, Stanley Enow..

He is gradually becoming the Leonardo Di Caprio of African Awards..Last year, he failed to win any award in Nigeria.He also lost at the Headies when Sean Tizzle beat him to take the award for Best Album.

MTV Base MAMA Awards-2015 Full Nominations List

The MTV Africa Music Awards KwaZulu-Natal 2015, brought to you by KwaZulu-Natal Province in association with Absolut andin partnership with The City of Durban, takes place at the Durban International Convention Centre (Durban ICC), KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa on Saturday 18 July 2015.

Celebrating the extraordinary evolution of African achievement, this year’s MAMA recognises contemporary artists and trailblazers in a range of music and lifestyle categories including Song of the Year, Video of the Year, Best Collaboration and Personality of the Year.
